CACI International has been awarded a four-year task order valued at up to $145 million to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in advancing next-generation maritime capabilities for the US Navy.
Under the award, CACI will develop and integrate advanced technologies for autonomous systems, maritime sensors, and next-generation naval platforms. This work is expected to help the US Navy improve fleet readiness, strengthen operational flexibility, and maintain maritime superiority against evolving threats.
Furthermore, the company plans to conduct research, engineering, testing, and rapid prototyping across multiple maritime platforms. The work includes evaluating new technologies, validating their performance, and integrating successful solutions into operational systems.
"Maintaining maritime superiority requires the ability to turn emerging technologies into operational capabilities faster," said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer.
"Our work will help the Navy get critical technologies into the hands of warfighters sooner, giving them the capabilities they need to make better decisions and stay ahead of emerging threats."
In March this year, CACI won a five-year task order to provide engineering and technical support for US Navy ships, submarines, and other naval vehicles. Under the US Navy SeaPort Next Generation (NxG) contract vehicle, the companywill offer data analysis, software development, and control system enhancements to improve the design and operation of naval vessels.
