Image of the Day: Supervising a RAS

Cmdr. Tadd Gorman, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71), oversees an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Lenthall (T-AO 189).

The operation was conducted in the Mediterranean Sea on April 22.

Ross is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
