Sri Lanka Navy Commander Visits Western Naval Command HQ

Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera visited the Western Naval Command Headquarters on 13th August 2014.

 

He was accorded a Token Guard of Honour and received by Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Dayananda Nanayakkara.

The Navy Commander addressed the naval officers and sailors at SLNS Rangalla. In his speech, the Navy Commander stressed the importance of becoming maritime professionals and maintaining high standards of discipline during their naval carrier. He also called upon all to continue their loyal service to fulfill the mission entrusted to the Navy in the defence of the nation and the development of the country.
