Philippine Navy HQ Hosts Change of Command

The office of the Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Operations, N3 received on Monday April 01, 2013 a new Chief , i.e., Captain Giovani Carlo J. Bacordo, the former Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces West, based in Palawan.

Captain Bacordo relieved Captain Jorge F. Amba,who in turn assumed the duty of  Assistant Superintendent of the AFP Command and General Staff College (CGSC).

The change of command ceremony was held in the Headquarters of the Philippine Navy, with the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Commodore Jesus C. Millan as the presiding officer.

Captain Amba was awarded Military Merit Medal for his valuable services rendered in a position of major responsibility as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Operations, N3 from Feb 09 2011 to April 01, 2013.
