Mikros Systems Corporation announced on June 1 that the Company plans to exhibit at the upcoming Navy Opportunity Forum from June 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, Virginia.

Mikros will be showcasing an Energy Harvesting MicroBuoy, which was developed under the Navy’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and incorporates the wave energy conversion technology of Ocean Power Technologies. Chuck Bristow, Vice President of Engineering, will be presenting a briefing on Monday, June 4, at 10:05 a.m. Eastern.

The Navy Opportunity Forum provides a preview of over 250 technologies funded by: the Navy’s SBIR and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs; the Navy’s Office of Research and Technology Applications (ORTAs); and the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to examine technologies and initiate relationships with small advanced technology firms.
