South Korean Navy Ships in New York

Two South Korean Navy ships arrived in New York on November 22.

According to Yonhap News, the ships will spend four days in the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and then depart for Colombia on Wednesday.

The 630 Korean sailors arrived on board the 134 meters long supply ship ROKS Dae Cheong and the 150-meter destroyer ROKS Kang Gam Chan.

This visit is part of a tour which will mark the 70th anniversary of the independence of the Asian country and the founding of the Navy. The Navy ships will visit a total of over fifteen countries, from Hawaii to Egypt.
