USCGC Barque Eagle Moors in Portsmouth, VA

The US Coast Guard Cutter Barque Eagle sailed into Portsmouth, VA, Wednesday on its yearly tour of ports.

The Eagle will be available for free public tours today, Thursday, moored across from Portsmouth City Hall.

At 295 feet in length, the Eagle is the largest tall ship flying the stars and stripes and the only active square-rigger in U.S. government service.
