VIDEO: Canada Marks Modernization of the Halifax-Class Frigates

The Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls and Minister of Canadian National Defence, yesterday announced the successful modernization of the first four Halifax-Class frigates.

 

TenCate Advanced Armour to Support Royal Danish Navy Ships

TenCate Advanced Armour has secured an order from the Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) for ballistic protection of the Iver Huitfeldt class frigates and Absalon class support ships of the Royal Danish Navy. The armour systems to be supplied will provide a fully engineered, lightweight solution for the protection of mission-critical areas of the Navy ships. The modular armour kits will be supplied and installed on the ships over the next months. No financial details will be provided.

HMNZS Endeavour Starts Sea Trials

The mighty tanker HMNZS ENDEAVOUR is back at sea this week, undertaking trials in the Hauraki Gulf after a long period of maintenance and upgrading, according to the Royal New Zealand Navy’s official Facebook page.
