MH-60 R HELICOPTER

Raytheon Company has landed a USD 10.5 million contract to provide multi-spectral targeting systems for Royal Danish Navy’s MH-60R/S helicopters.

The MH-60R helicopter, also known as “Romeo”, is an Anti-Submarine (ASW)/ Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW) multi-mission helicopter. This type of helicopter, together with its sibling, the MH-60S, also known as “Sierra”, flew more than 650,000 hours across a 500+ aircraft fleet.

The Royal Danish Navy has acquired nine MH-60R helicopters in December 2012, worth up to USD 686 million, which will be delivered to the Navy by 2018.

The work is expected to be finished by December 2015 and will be performed at Raytheon company, based in McKinney, Texas.
