Sri Lanka Navy Assists in Repatriation of 5 Fishermen

Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of 5 Sri Lankan fishermen on 10^th April 2013.

The fishermen with their fishing boat named “Rasan Putha” were taken over from the Indian Coast Guard Ship “Rajkamal” at the International Maritime Boundary Line off Kankasanthurai by Sri Lanka Naval Vessel Abeetha II attached to the Northern Naval Command. Sri Lanka Coast Guard Vessel 48 also assisted the mission.
