Nepal ACSC Officers Visit Eastern Naval Command

A group of officers from the Army Command and Staff College (ACSC) in Nepal visited the Eastern Naval Command in Trincomalee on 13th January 2013. Head of the delegation, Brigadier General Padam Bilash Karki and two senior instructors called on Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Lakshman Illangakoon at the Eastern Naval Area Headquarters in Trincomalee.

The delegation comprised of 27 members and the Eastern Naval Area Commander briefed them on the current situation in the area and the port facilities at Trincomalee harbour. He also briefed the history of Trincomalee harbour and its political, economic and security importance.
