Sri Lanka Navy Commander Opens New Naval Legal Services Office Complex

Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake declared open the new Naval Legal Services Office Complex at the Naval Headquarters on 30th April 2012.

Director General Legal Services & Judge Advocate General Rear Admiral WWJS Fernando, Commander Western Naval Area Rear Admiral DS Udawatte, senior officers attached to NHQ and Acting Director Naval Legal Services Captain AMAW Weerasinghe were also present on the occasion.

The new office complex fulfills a long felt need and provides more space to accommodate all the staff without any congestion. The two-storied building is equipped with modern office facilities and has a pleasing interior with eco-friendly ventilation.
