KBR has been awarded a $45.9M task order to provide logistics information technology services to the US Naval Air Systems Command’s (NAVAIR) Logistics and Maintenance Information Systems and Technology Division.
As informed, KBR received this cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoD IAC) multiple-award contract (MAC). The order’s period of performance is 56 months.

The task order is part of the DoD IAC’s Cyber Security and Information Systems Technical Area Task (CSTAT) and was awarded by the U.S. Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC).
Specifically, the company’s technical experts will perform various engineering and sustainment services as part of this task order, including research, analysis, design, development, unit testing, verification and validation (V&V) integration testing, training, deployment, operations, and maintenance of IT solutions.
KBR said it would perform this work primarily at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland.

The DOD IAC program operates as a part of Defense Technical Information Center and provides technical data management and research support for DOD and federal government users. Established in the 1940s, the IAC program serves the DoD science & technology (S&T) and acquisition communities to drive innovation and technological developments by enhancing collaboration through integrated scientific and technical information development and dissemination for the DOD and broader S&T community.
