The corvette will spend most of her time in the North and Baltic Seas where SNMG1 regularly operates.

Erfurt’s deployment will be closely following that of minehunter FGS Bad Benvensen which will get underway from Kiel for an SNMCMG1 deployment on February 25.

The corvette is set to spend the next four months deployed to SNMG 1 which is currently commanded by the Royal Danish Navy from aboard the Iver Huitfeldt-class frigate HDMS Niels Juel.

After a number of planned international exercises and port visits, the crew will attend the famous German  sailing event Kiel Week in June before returning home.
