Video: Putin inspects the fleet during Russian Navy Day parade

Warships and submarines from all fleets of the Russian Navy paraded in front of Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces Vladimir Putin in a ceremony that lasted an hour and a half.

Overall 40 vessels participated in Russian Navy Day celebrations in Saint Petersburg on July 30.

The navy day event marked the 100th anniversary of the Russian Navy.

In addition to warships, aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and naval aviation carried out a flypast.

In total, 40 warships and submarines took part in the Main Navy Parade, including the Pyotr Veliky missile cruiser, Marshal Ustinov, Vice Admiral Kulakov anti-submarine ship, and Admiral Makarov frigate. The aircraft that took part included Il-38, Tu-142, Tu-142M, Su-33, and MiG-29K.
