The U.S.-based Fincantieri Marinette Marine announced it has received a contract supply another two boats to the The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The contract for the two Response Boats–Medium (RB-Ms) vessels was issued by the U.S. Coast Guard and will be delivered under the foreign military sales contract.
This award brings the total number of RB-M’s built by team RB-M to 176.
The new boats will be upgraded for the Jordanian Navy’s specific mission requirements and will be constructed by Vigor in one of its Seattle, Washington facilities.
