US Navy invests $88M in Naval Postgraduate School program

The U.S. Navy has awarded five technology and consulting companies around $88 million to develop different educational programs for the Naval Postgraduate School.

U.S. Navy commissioned officers will be attending programs devised by Creek Technologies, General Dynamics Information Technology, Digital Consulting Services, DeVine Consulting and MAC Consulting Services.

The U.S. Department of Defense announcement said that each contract included a one-year base period and four year option periods.

Furthermore, if all options are exercised, the DoD said the contract value would reach a ceiling value of $502,670,476.

The Naval Postgraduate School is an accredited masters-level university run by the U.S. Navy. The university is mostly attended by active-duty personnel but civilians and members of foreign militaries are also allowed to participate in programs.
