Northrop Grumman Wins US Navy’s SEWIP Deal

US Navy awarded a $91,7 million electronic warfare systems contract to Northrop Grumman.

The deal is for Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block 3 program engineering, manufacturing and development.

SEWIP Block 3 will provide select Navy surface ships a scalable electronic warfare enterprise suite with improved electronic attack capabilities.

Work will be performed in Maryland, California and Virginia, and is expected to be completed by January 2017.

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
