ESPS Galicia, ESPS Meteoro Meet at Sea

Operation Atalanta’s Force Commander, Rear Admiral Alfonso Gómez Fernández de Cordoba, paid a visit to ESPS Meteoro at sea off the coast of Somalia on September 23. Operation Atalanta’s Force Commander, Rear Admiral Alfonso Gómez Fernández de Cordoba, paid a visit to ESPS Meteoro at sea off the coast of Somalia on September 23.

The two Spanish warships, ESPS Galicia and ESPS Meteoro, had met at sea to carry out a replenishment of stores and the Force Commander took the opportunity to visit ESPS Meteoro.

After being flown on board, Rear Admiral de Cordoba was given a tour of the ship and introduced to the sailors and marines on board.
