US Navy’s destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60), skippered by Commander John Barsano, docked in Manila, Philippines, on Sunday, September 6.
This three-day visit to the Philippines is part of the vessel’s regular port of calls to South East Asia.
Just like any other visit of foreign navies, this activity offers a platform for knowledge, skills and cultural exchanges.
It also further strengthens the long-time friendship and camaraderie shared by the US Navy personnel and their Filipino counterparts.
