HMS Portland Hosts Visitors in Rotterdam

Royal Navy’s Devonport based Frigate HMS Portland had a busy visit to Rotterdam to support World Port Days where the ship had 3 days open to visitors attracting nearly 20000 people.

The ships company enjoyed visits to Arnhem and Amsterdam, in addition had sporting fixtures in Netball and Hockey against local teams.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors attend the World Port Days every year.

During this maritime weekend the Netherlands celebrate the port city of Rotterdam and all it has to offer through a huge variety of maritime displays and activities.
