ITS Libeccio, Italian Navy’s frigate engaged in EUNAVFOR’s Operation Atalanta, docked at the Sultan Qaboos Port in Muttrah, Muscat, Oman.
The vessel is in port for EUNAVFOR’s scheduled rotation. During the visit ITS Libeccio will conduct refuelling and replenishment operations.
ITS Libeccio is an anti-submarine frigate built and designed by Fincantieri, Muggiano, Italy. The vessel is one of the eight Maestral class ships launched on September 7, 1981, and commissioned on February 5, 1983.
