US Navy Awards Radar Engineering, Software And Logistics Support Deal

US Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) – Port Hueneme Division (PHD) awarded a $35.4 million contract to Engility Holdings, Inc. to continue providing radar engineering, software support and logistics services.

The award is a follow on to a contract originally won by TASC, which was acquired by Engility in February 2015.

Work on this contract, which could have a cumulative value of $53 million if all options are exercised, will be performed at the NSWC PHD Dam Neck division’s Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Detachment in Virginia Beach, Va.

Under this program, the Company will support all rotating and surveillance radars that the U.S. Navy deploys.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee follow-on contract has a 12-month base with three two-month options.
