BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $38,6 million modification to a previously awarded contract for USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55) fiscal 2015 extended docking selected restricted availability.
An extended docking selected restricted availability includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities.
Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 2016.
Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
