USS Pinckney’s Command Master Chief Relieved

The command master chief of USS Pinckney (DDG 91) was relieved of his duties, July 13, due to loss of confidence in his ability to fulfill his role and responsibilities.

Command Master Chief (AW/SW) Ralph S. Crowder III was relieved by Rear Adm. Patrick Piercey, commander of Carrier Strike Group 9.

Command Master Chief Medea Dudley has been named as the ship’s new command master chief.

Pinckney is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer homeported in San Diego.
