Colombian Navy Seizes 337 Kilos of Cocaine

The Colombian Navy seized a drug shipment in the Colombian Pacific on Friday.

In the operation, conducted by the naval and Coast Guard units, more than 300 kilograms of cocaine were seized.

Three Ecuadorians were attempting to transport a total of 340 packages to Central America.

The authorities sent the shipment to the Coast Guard Station Buenaventura, where the content was tested positive for 337 kg of cocaine. The worth of the seized drugs is estimated to be around $11 million.

So far this year, the Navy has seized approximately 30 tons of cocaine estimated to be worth close to one billion dollars.
