The visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) team from the amphibious assault ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) departs the ship on a rigid-hull inflatable boat during a training exercise.

The exercise was conducted while the vessel was in the Atlantic Ocean on June 20.

Arlington is underway with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) participating in a scenario-based amphibious integration exercise in preparation for a future deployment.
