Sonardyne International Ltd, UK, recently entered into a non-exclusive agreement with Northern Defense Industries (NDI) to become its strategic partner for maritime security and defense projects in the USA.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Sonardyne and NDI will deliver systems that offer an enhanced underwater surveillance and security capability to help protect high value marine assets. These systems will include Sonardyne’s swimmer detection sonar, Sentinel, obstacle avoidance sonar, NOAS and other related acoustic technologies.

Andy Meecham, Chief Technology Officer for NDI and AMS Group commented:

A key part of NDI’s business is providing maritime security and domain awareness solutions for ports, harbors and critical infrastructure facilities – both domestically and worldwide.
