BAE Systems Awarded Additional USS Kidd Deal

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair is being awarded a $36,5 million modification to previously awarded contract for USS Kidd (DDG 100) fiscal 2015 dry-docking selected restricted availability.

A dry-docking selected restricted availability includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities.

This contract modification includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $37,250,614.

Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by April 2016.

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
