UK Recognizes Efforts with Fleet Commander Commendations

A total of 31 personnel from across the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary and civilian staff have been recognised with Fleet Commander Commendations for their outstanding efforts over the past year.

Twenty two personnel received Fleet Commander Commendations (FCC), eight were awarded a Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service (QCVS) and there was a further Queen’s Commendation for Bravery (QCB).

Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Sir Philip Jones presented the Commendations at a special ceremony at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth.

Fleet Commander Commendations are given to sailors, marines and civilians working across the Service who have been nominated for exceptional performance in their unit.

Those receiving Commendations came from across the Royal Navy spectrum.
