HMS Middleton on Its Way to Lerwick, Shetland Islands

Royal Navy Mine Hunter HMS Middleton will sail into Lerwick, Shetland Islands on Thursday, May 21 at approximately 9am for a five-day visit.

Berthing alongside at Victoria Pier, the ship is visiting Lerwick for a number of commemorative events and regional engagement activities. The ship will be open to visitors on Friday, May 22.

It will stay in Lerwick until Monday, May 25.

HMS Middleton is a Portsmouth based ship – one of the Navy’s fifteen Mine Countermeasures Vessels – which will deploy later this year.
