Spanish Prime Minister Tours OPV Vencedora

Spanish Navy’s patrol vessel Vencedora hosted Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy Brey on May 4 in Dakar, Senegal.

The Prime Minister was welcomed aboard by the vessel’s Commander. He conducted a brief visit, signed the Book of Honor and received a presentation on the vessel’s various capabilities, its mission and major maritime security and cooperation tasks with the countries in West Africa and the Gulf of Guinea.

Vencedora is currently deployed off the African coast conducting maritime security activities.
