The Tunisian Navy has recently expanded its fleet with two patrol boats.
The vessels, ordered from US-based SAFE Boats International, will provide the Tunisian Navy with enhanced capability to conduct search and rescue operations (SAR) and extended offshore patrols.
Featuring dual 1600hp diesel engines, shock mitigating seating, climate control and navigation package, the vessels are capable of speeds in excess of 40 knots.
