As soon as the transportation team confirmed she is safe for sea voyage, the Forward Island of the second Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier deployed on a five-day cruise to Rosyth where final assembly is taking place.

The Forward Island contains the bridge and approximately 100 vital mission systems compartments. It has up to two metres deck-to-deck windows designed to ensure a high level of visibility and withstand a significant impact.
