The Italian Navy’s Mine countermeasure vessels Termoli (M5555) commenced a complex in port and at sea training phase.
The vessel, moored in the port of Naples, aimed to increase the operational readiness of its crew with this drill. ITS Termoli also conducted exercises in the Gulf of Naples with the Egyptian Navy’s Replenishment oiler A230 Shalatein on April 14. The vessels engaged in joint training as soon as they departed the port.
Among the training operations, the vessels conducted various maneuvers, lateral positioning for refueling at sea, and communication by signal flags.
