Image of the Day: USS Ross Enhances Firefighting Skills

Sailors demonstrate proficiency with firefighting techniques on the flight deck of the guided-missile USS Ross (DDG 71) during crash-and-salvage training exercises.

The drills were conducted in April 3, during the vessel’s deployment in the Mediterranean Sea.

Ross is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility in support of U.S national security interests in Europe.
