Essex is underway participating in a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the Pacific Ocean.
Essex ARG is comprised of Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) THREE and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
