FNS Floreal Docks in Cape Town, South Africa

French Navy Frigate FNS Floreal recently paid a visit to the South African Navy (SAN).

The vessel berthed at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town on Friday, March 6, for an informal visit.

Commander Marc Woodcock, Commanding Officer of FNS Floreal, who took command of the Reunion Island-based vessel on 10 July 2014, along with the French delegation, paid a courtesy call to Naval Base Simon’s Town. They were welcomed by the Chief Fleet Staff, R Adm (JG) D.G. Jamieson on behalf of the Flag Officer Fleet.
