The helicopter, assigned to The Immortals of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (Light) (HSL) 60, conducted the operation on February 24, while it was in the Caribbean Sea.
Kauffman is underway in support of Operation Martillo, a joint operation with the U.S. Coast Guard and partner nations within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
