During her port visit to Djibouti, EU Naval Force warship, ESPS Rayo, conducted maritime training in support of the EU’s maritime capacity building mission, EUCAP Nestor.
On Tuesday 24 February, sailors from the Djiboutian Navy were briefed on the range of equipment on board the Spanish warship that is used in damage control situations. After the briefing, the Djiboutian Navy sailors conducted a series of exercises to enable them to put in to practice the lessons learnt.
Following the exercises, Djiboutian Navy sailors were given a tour of the ship.
