Royal New Zealand Navy’s frigate HMNZS Te Kaha left Devonport Naval Base this morning.
The vessel is off to a five-month deployment and after a month of sea- training off the coast of Western Australia, the frigate will head north-west for Gallipoli where it will join the 100-year anniversary commemorations of the Anzac Day landings.
HMNZS Te Kaha (F77) is one of ten Anzac class frigates, and one of two serving in the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN).
