Russian Navy’s Frigate Pytlivyy Ends Maintenance Works

Russian Navy’s frigate Pytlivyy (808) has completed all measures undertaken to restore the vessel’s technical readiness.

The Black Sea Fleet, Burevestnik-class, frigate commenced scheduled maintenance works in May last year. The vessel’s crew has already started basic sea training, and will, in the near future, undertake exercises to test the ship’s readiness . The crew will conduct missile and artillery firing for shore, sea and air targets.

After it completes the necessary drills, the vessel will deploy to take part in the Russian Navy’s Mediterranean Sea permanent task force.
