Spanish Navy Engages in Bay of Biscay Fisheries Campaign

The Spanish Navy’s patrol boat ‘Alboran’ deployed on a fisheries campaign in the Bay of Biscay.

The vessel departed its homeport Cartagena to take part in fisheries inspection and surveillance tasks which will last until February 21. Alboran will make a stop in the port of Gijon on 11 and 12 February, where its currently embarked inspector will be relieved.

Upon the completion of the campaing, the patrol vessel will sail to Rota Naval Base to take part in a Homeland Security exercise.
