Sri Lanka Navy arrested 43 Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters north-east of Point Pedro on 9th December 2014. The authorities also apprehended 5 Indian fishing trawlers. Sri Lanka Navy arrested 43 Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters north-east of Point Pedro on 9th December 2014.
The authorities also apprehended 5 Indian fishing trawlers.
The arrested fishermen will be handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Jaffna for legal action.
