Colombian Navy Confiscates 100 Kilos of Cocaine

The Colombian Navy, with the assistance of the Narcotics Police Department and Santa Marta Coast Guard Station, managed to seize 99.4 kilograms of cocaine aboard a cargo vessel.

The cocaine was hidden in one of the containers aboard the Singapore-flagged “Star Standard” cargo ship.

“Star Standard” was on its way from Turbo, Colombia to Antwerp, Belgium.

So far this year, the Navy confiscated more than 36 tons of cocaine in the Colombian Caribbean.
