Spanish Navy’s ‘Navarra’ Trains with Tanzanian Navy

The Spanish Navy frigate ‘Navarra’ integrated into the counter-piracy operation ‘Atalanta’ in the Indian Ocean has organized a training session with Tanzanian Navy servicemen during a port visit to Dar es Salaam as part of a program meant to enhance regional maritime capabilities.

The students were trained on Damage Control techniques, while the MC security force organized a series of drills on procedures to challenge possible threats.

Finally, the Tanzanian Navy personnel were toured around the ship and visited the Combat Information Centre (CIC) with its console tables and communication systems.

Upon the conclusion of the different drills, the Tanzanian students were granted a diploma.
