Yaroslav Mudry Leaves Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka

Neustrashimy class frigate “Yaroslav Mudry” (727) of the Russian Navy’s Baltic Fleet (BF), along with the tanker “Cola”, departed port of Colombo, Sri Lanka, yesterday.

During the visit the sailors of the frigate conducted replenishment as well as technical inspection of the vessel. Yaroslav Mudry is currently on its way to Jakarta, Indonesia.

Yaroslav Mudry departed the main naval base of Baltiysk on 9 August. During the deployment the vessel sailed more than 11 thousand nautical miles, and visited the Spanish Ceuta port on the Mediterranean coast of Africa and the port of Valletta in Malta and the port of Karachi in Pakistan. While in Pakistan, the vessel engaged in counter-drug exercises with their Pakistani counterparts.
