Image of the Day: Waiting for an MV-22B Osprey to Land

US Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Christopher Sewell, from Cincinnati, Ohio, stands by for the landing of an MV-22B Osprey from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365 (Reinforced) during flight operations aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21).

New York is underway conducting a composite training exercise with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
