Raytheon's SM-2 AURs Ordered for DDG 1000 Vessels

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded an $8 million modification to a previously awarded contract for 18 SM-2 Block IIIA All-Up-Rounds for DDG 1000 class ships.

 

Most of the work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona and Andover, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by November 2016.

Fiscal 2013 and 2014 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $8,023,289 will be obligated at time of award.

Contract funds in the amount of $2,239,838 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
