US and UK Order Tomahawk Missiles from Raytheon

Raytheon Co., Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $251,1 million firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 231 Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round missiles for the U.S. Navy (147 vertical launch systems and 64 capsule launch systems) and the United Kingdom (20 torpedo tube launch systems).

 

The majority of work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona. Work is expected to be completed in August 2016.

Fiscal 2013 and 2014 weapons procurement (Navy) funds, and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $251,133,201, are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract combines purchase for the U.S. Navy (89.4 pct) and the United Kingdom (10.6 pct) under the foreign military sales program.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
